Open it from any page with **Cmd+B** and it knows exactly what you're looking at — your current query, automation, data table, or report. ## Query assistant The chat assistant now works directly inside the query editor. Ask it to write queries, modify your current SQL, explain results, or debug errors — all without leaving the editor. Agents automatically adapt based on what you're viewing and the questions you ask. ## Persistent conversations Chat conversations now persist across sessions. Pick up where you left off using the chat history drawer — click the clock icon at the top of the chat window to browse previous conversations. ## What chat can do * **Data and queries** — write, edit, and run SQL queries against Flipside's blockchain data * **Reports and visualizations** — build dashboards and charts from query results * **Automations** — create scheduled workflows, debug runs, and set up Slack/Discord/email alerts * **Intelligence** — stablecoin flows, whale monitoring, protocol revenue, market maker tracking, DeFi competitive analysis, and more * **Agents and skills** — create and manage AI agents with custom configurations ## Auto-save and API access Queries are now automatically saved as you work — including queries created by chat. This covers perpetual futures, spot markets, funding, liquidations, staking, and more across 19 tables. ### What's included * **Perpetual futures**: Trades, fills (maker/taker split), liquidations, funding rates, funding payments, predicted fundings, L2 order book depth, OHLCV candles, and asset snapshots * **Spot markets**: Trades and asset snapshots for all HIP-1 tokens * **Market reference**: Dimension tables for all 280+ perp markets and 275+ spot markets, including leverage limits, margin config, and token metadata * **On-chain activity**: Ledger events (deposits, withdrawals, transfers), staking events, validator rewards, and vault snapshots * **Cross-asset coverage**: Crypto, equities (`cash:TSLA`, `cash:USA500`), and commodities (`cash:SILVER`) — all on one chain All tables include sample queries to help you get started. [Request a Demo →](https://flipsidecrypto.xyz/request-demo/) # Solana stake accounts data improvement We're improving our stake account data collection for `solana.gov.fact_stake_accounts` by implementing a refined snapshot approach that provides more uniform data points within each epoch. ## What's changing Starting December 18th, 2024, we will update data in `GOV.FACT_STAKE_ACCOUNTS` from **epoch 805 forward**. This change ensures all data from an epoch represents a single point in time, reducing edge-cases like instances where `ACTIVATION_EPOCH = EPOCH` and the stake isn't technically active. ## Impact * `MODIFIED_TIMESTAMP` and `INSERTED_TIMESTAMP` values for records from epoch 805 onward will be updated * If your pipeline uses these timestamp columns for incremental processing, you may see more records being processed immediately after the update * No changes to the actual stake data or schema ## Benefits * More uniform data points within each epoch * All data from an epoch represents a single point in time * Reduced edge-cases in stake activation status ## Questions? [View fact\_stake\_accounts documentation →](/blockchain-data/solana/gov/fact-stake-accounts) # Ethereum balances tables: Deprecation and new standardized tables We're introducing new standardized balances tables for Ethereum and deprecating legacy balance tables to improve performance and consistency across all EVM chains. ## Table deprecations The following tables will be **removed from the platform on December 11, 2025** (4 weeks from today): * `ethereum.core.fact_eth_balances` * `ethereum.core.fact_token_balances` * `ethereum.core.ez_balance_deltas` * `ethereum.core.ez_current_balances` ## New tables Two new tables are now available in the `ethereum.balances` schema: * **`ethereum.balances.ez_balances_native_daily`** - Daily native ETH balance snapshots * **`ethereum.balances.ez_balances_erc20_daily`** - Daily ERC20 token balance snapshots [View native balances documentation →](/blockchain-data/ethereum/balances/ez-balances-native-daily) [View ERC20 balances documentation →](/blockchain-data/ethereum/balances/ez-balances-erc20-daily) ## Key changes ### Granularity Daily snapshots based on max block per day (vs calls at every block) ### Historical data One-time historical snapshot as of June 10, 2025 to include balances for all address/contract pairs and native asset holders from genesis ### Verified tokens ERC20 table includes only verified tokens, selected based on custom business logic. Tokens can be added upon request ### Main column differences * `USER_ADDRESS` → `ADDRESS` * `BLOCK_TIMESTAMP` → `BLOCK_DATE` ## Key benefits * **Standardized**: New tables are standardized and deployed across all EVMs * **Performance**: More efficient, faster queries * **Pre-aggregated**: Balances aggregated to daily level * **USD pricing**: Includes USD pricing for all balances ## Migration timeline You have **4 weeks** to migrate your queries to the new tables. With this update, all remaining tables now follow the same pattern, excluding unsuccessful transactions. ## Why this matters * **Improved Performance**: Queries will process less data, resulting in faster execution times * **Reduced Storage**: Smaller tables mean more efficient data management * **Better Analytics**: Unsuccessful transactions provide limited analytical value for most use cases ## Data availability * **Failed transactions are still accessible** in `solana.core.fact_transactions` for failure counts and general metrics * **Fee deductions remain tracked** in `sol_balances` tables, as fees are deducted even for failed transactions ## Impact This change affects historical data.
